Jim was raised a devout Catholic and converted into the Adventist faith in his early twenties. With his wife Diana, they spent 25 years pastoring in Los Angeles before moving to Asia to teach in the Philippines for 12 years in the Adventist Graduate Seminary there. Jim and Diana have two adult children, Sarah and Jimmy.
Jim has travelled and taught extensively in Asia, Africa, South and North America as well as the South Pacific. He is currently living near San Diego and pastors in Los Angeles. He continues to travel and teach and develop materials in Discipleship and Mission for the Adventist Church.
