At a recording session in the Philippines for a television show playing one on my songs 2019.

The artist Jim Scott a San Francisco artist sits with gray hair and a mustache sitting at a table indoors, wearing a red plaid shirt and a beige jacket, smiling at the camera.

Jim Scott, a multi-media artist from San Francisco I met in my early 20s. One of the biggest inspirations of my life.

I love Bokeh photography and thanks for my new Canon 1.2 lens for delivering.

My first painting. Acrylic thickened paint with palette knife in impressionistic style.

Shine

In 2006 I was teaching in the Philippines and saw a commercial for a hair product that guaranteed to make your hair “Shine.” I really liked the song and traced down the person who composed it and asked if I could change one word and turn it from a love to a gospel song.

So instead of “I am shining on” I made a presentation that said, “I am shining Lord.” The song is sung by Regine Velasquez who is a top female vocalist in the Philippines.

I wanted to resurrect the presentation recently and had to go back and redo the graphics and timing on the song and really liked how it turned out . . . God bless Jesus the Light of the World whose only desire is to shine through us to others in this increasingly dark world.
